PERAN TRANSNATIONAL SOCIAL MOVEMENT BLACK LIVES MATTER DALAM MEWUJUDKAN KESETARAAN RASIAL TERHADAP KELOMPOK MINORITAS KULIT HITAM DI INGGRIS RAYA TAHUN 2020-2021

Penelitian tulisan ini akan berbicara tentang peran gerakan transnasional Black Lives Matter dalam mewujudkan kesetaraan rasial terhadap kelompok minoritas di Inggris Raya tahun 2020-2021. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan konsep gerakan sosial transnasional sebaga pisau analisis dalam membeda isu permalahan. Pendekatan metodelogis yang akan digunakan adalah metode kualitatif – deskriptif jenis studi kasus karena dianggap mampu mendeskripsikan secara terperinci sealigus terstruktur. Dari penelitian ini menemuka bahwa walaupun IngrisRaya telah menean tindakan rasime dengan Euality Act tetapi rasime tetap terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat minoritas khususnya kulit hitam. Kondisis pandemi mampu menguatkan fenomena rasisme di Inggris Raya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan peranan serta kontribusi dari gerakan transnasional Black Lives Matter sebagai promotor kesetaraan rasial di inggris Raya. Kontribusi melalui membantu narasi-narasi rasisme di level lokal agar mampu naik ke level internasional, sekaligus memberi tekanan pada para pembuat kebijakan melaui kampanye di media sosial serta demonstrasi guna meraih tujuan yaitu penghapusan rasisme demi kesetaraan rasial.
